The NAMM Show and DreamHack Anaheim are two exciting events coming to the Anaheim Convention Center in 2020. We’ve outlined all the details you’ll need to know when planning your visit to either convention.

NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants)

The NAMM Show takes place on January 16-19, 2020 at the Anaheim Convention Center and is designed for qualified members of the music trade such as musicians, educators, entertainment technology professionals and more. NAMM aims to bring together those involved in the music industry to support each other, as well as promote the wonderful benefits of creating music. Music makers young and old will appreciate and revel in this fun-filled gathering. There will be plenty of exhibits, education sessions, and special events where you can check out a variety of musical instruments and accessories, pro audio and sound reinforcement, entertainment and live event technology.

If you are a NAMM member you can register for the event for free until January 6, 2020. A general attendee that is a student must show proof that they are enrolled in a school or organization affiliated with NAMM. Music educators, worship leaders, pro audio engineers, and others must show proof of their status to enter NAMM as a general attendee. Tickets will go up to $150 after January 6 or for general attendees.

DreamHack Anaheim 2020

DreamHack 2020 is the ultimate gaming lifestyle festival. It occurs February 21-23, 2020 and includes BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer), LAN (Local Area Network), Esports tournaments, cosplay, live music, and more. The biggest community tournament of Fortnight will be played during Dreamhack Anaheim 2020 and the prize pool is an impressive $250,000! Dreamhack Open, Dreamhack FGC and Magic: The Gathering Arena also have great cash prizes for those interested. Other attractions include Fighting Game Championships such as Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokken, Melee, and Street Fighter V. There will even be a Tabletop indie spotlight & more! Other events at Dreamhack are:

Tickets cost anywhere from $99 to $269 for all three days. If you are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver. Guests under 13 years old must have their legal guardian or parent with them at all times. Children 4 years old and under are free.
