This series of after-hours, separately ticketed special events bring a unique twist to the park and highlight its ‘dark’ side in a way everyone will love. Each event features a fun theme, exclusive entertainment, character meet-and-greets, specialty food and merchandise to go along with the theme, select attractions open late, and more. What is Disneyland® After Dark?

Before we jump into the details, it’s important to note that these limited-capacity events are incredibly popular and often sell out well in advance. If you have your eye on a particular theme night, be sure to book your tickets as early as possible!

Each event ticket includes admission to the park after it’s closed for the day but up to three hours before the after-dark festivities begin, allowing you to enjoy Disneyland® in a rare setting—with few other visitors. Unlike a ‘regular’ park visit, no reservation is required for individual rides or attractions during these special After Dark events. Lightning Lane passes are not available. Importantly, not all rides are open for every event; the park typically keeps a select few of the most popular open for After Dark parties.

Elsewhere in the park, expect themed dining experiences and limited-time food offerings, event-exclusive merchandise and souvenirs, and the chance to see beloved Disney characters in outfits that match the party, like a “totally rad” Mickey and Minnie, clad in neon. Guests are encouraged to get in on the fun by dressing up in outfits or costumes that align with the event. There are also special entertainment experiences, which include live performances, parades, or unique photo ops with event-specific backdrops.

Disneyland® After Dark 2025 Events

90s Nite

March 4 and 6, 2025

Get ready for a nostalgic, totally fly trip back to the 1990s with Disneyland® After Dark: 90s Nite! This colorful event celebrates the pop culture, fashion, and entertainment of the iconic decade with a DJ-hosted dance party at Rivers of America, throwback parades from the ’90s, and character encounters with Goofy and Max, dressed in their retro best. Dance the night away at a throwback dance party featuring 90s music, snap photos with rare characters from 90s Disney favorites, and enjoy limited-time snacks inspired by the era. If you grew up on Disney Afternoon cartoons or classic Disney Channel shows, this is the perfect event to relive the magic!

Star Wars Nite

April 8, 10, 22, 24, and 29, plus May 1, 4, and 6, 2025

A must-attend event for Star Wars fans, Star Wars Nite transforms Disneyland® into a galactic celebration. This event includes immersive Star Wars-themed entertainment, such as the Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade, which invites fans to dress up as their favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away and join in the walk down Main Street, U.S.A. Guests can also check out a lightsaber tutorial from a pro and ride some of the park’s most popular Star Wars rides, including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

Pride Nite

June 16 and 18, 2025

Pride Nite is a joyful celebration of diversity and inclusivity at Disneyland®. Taking place in June to align with Pride Month, this event welcomes guests to enjoy a night of love, acceptance, and of course, lots of Disney® magic. Expect special entertainment, meet-and-greets with beloved characters, rainbow-themed food and drink options, and a vibrant, inviting atmosphere filled with color and music where guests can express themselves.
